At Finishing Touch, we understand that preparing a property to hit the market can be a monumental task, one which many homeowners are not prepared for. The mission of Finishing Touch is to simplify this task by providing local, affordable solutions that address all areas of pre-sale needs, from property cleanout to relocation assistance and everything in between.

Services

Removing items from a home is a delicate process, as the items may have significant personal and emotional value. At Finishing Touch we understand this and we work with the property owner to carefully and responsibly determine a solution for each item. For items which the client wishes to recoup value, FTHS partners with local auction services to fetch the best returns quickly. Items which possess little value will be responsibly donated to one of many local charitable organizations, complete with a tax-deductible receipt. Finally, items which do not fall in the above categories will be appropriately disposed of. In addition to the removal of items, FTHS also offers home-cleaning services to make sure your property is spotless for its new owners.
Whether a property needs a new coat of paint, shrubs removed, or leaking pipes repaired, Finishing Touch Home Services is prepared to handle it all. We work with local, affordable contractors to cover all aspects of home repair and renovation. FTHS does the legwork here, sourcing multiple quotations and finding the right solution at the right price.
Sometimes getting a home ready for sale is only part of the challenge, that is why Finishing Touch Home Services partners with local relocation specialists to ensure your valuables can be packed and shipped to a destination of your choosing. Our relocation specialists also have experience moving individuals into retirement communities, if that happens to be the next stop on your journey.

My husband and I highly recommend Finishing Touch Home Services. Owner, Chris Walton and his crew, proved totally reliable, responsive, caring & careful re all of our moving needs: we had some extremely heavy furniture pieces, bookcases, books, etc, that we were shifting from basement to two levels above. Unwieldy staircases were involved; but Chris and his team were superb throughout! They made the moving "event" upbeat--even fun--during the lifting, removal, and reorganization process.
We also had some items that needed to be hauled away and some we were donating. No task was problematic since Chris had arranged for some specialist movers to augment the project as necessary.
The team even realigned room-sized carpets and patiently endured any last-minute changes.
We anticipate a tremendous future for this young firm: overall, they are quick, precise and accommodating in a myriad of ways!

We met on a Monday, and a crew started working the following week and finished in three days. The crew was thorough, quick, and the finished product was excellent!
